Đề cử Grammy 2019: BTS có mặt và tại sao điều đó rất quan trọng?

(Thethaovanhoa.vn) – Đề cử Grammy 2019 vừa được công bố và như mọi khi, có rất nhiều ngạc nhiên trong bốn hạng mục lớn của giải.

Big Hit Entertainment tích cực lót đường cho BTS vào Grammy?

Trên tạp chí Billboard mới đây, hình ảnh của bảy chàng trai BTS đã xuất hiện trong mục “Cân nhắc cho giải Grammy”.

Mới đây, trên CBS This Moring, người giành giải Nghệ sĩ mới của năm 2018 Alessia Cara, người dẫn Apple Music Zane Lowe, Janelle Monae và Shawn Mendes đã công bố danh sách đề cử Grammy 2019. Thông báo này đã được đẩy lùi từ ngày 5/12 sang ngày 7/12 vì đám tang tổng thống George H.W. Bush.

Hai người nhận được nhiều đề cử nhất tại giải lần thứ 61 này đều là nghệ sĩ hip hop. Kendrick Lamar đứng đầu với tám đề cử, và Drake theo sau với bảy. Nhà sản xuất Boi-1da và Brandi Carlile nhận sáu đề cử, đưa Carlile thành nghệ sĩ nữ nhận nhiều đề cử nhất tại Grammy 2019. Cardi B, Childish Gambino, H.E.R, Lady Gaga, Maren Morris, nhà sản xuất Sounwave và kỹ sư âm thanh Mike Bozzi theo sau với năm đề cử.

Đáng chú ý, BTS vừa lập thêm kỷ lục mới khi trở thành nhóm nhạc kpop đầu tiên được Grammy công  nhận tại giải sắp tới.

Love Yourself: Tear của BTS đã được đề cử ở hạng mục Album tái bản hay nhất. Album, đứng đầu Bilboard 200 hồi tháng Năm, sẽ cạnh tranh với Masseduction của St. Vincent, Be the Cowboy của Mitski, The Offering của The Chairman và Well Kept Thing của Foxhole.

BTS được công nhận là minh chứng cho tầm quan trọng của những nhóm lớn, khi họ làm việc cùng nhau để mang tới không chỉ âm nhạc chất lượng cao mà còn có cả chủ đề, hình ảnh song hành. Đề cử của BTS cũng là bước đột phá cho âm nhạc Hàn Quốc nói chung, đánh dấu sự chú ý của Học viên Ghi âm tới xứ kim chi.
